WHO IS KAY MILLER SMITH?
Kay Miller Smith is seriously committed to helping her clients receive the benefits of Pilates. She admits that she was once a hard core spinning instructor doing high intensity interval training several days a week. She’s also a certified personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine, and was into heavy weight training 3 days a week.
She realized something was missing in her fitness routine as discomfort/pain or tightness kept creeping up. She found the answer while rehabilitating from an ACL reconstructive knee surgery. She discovered pilates and realized slowing down is good for the body and the mind.
Benefits include a stronger core, deeper breathing, enhanced balance and coordination, longer muscles and better endurance.
Kay is fully certified through the PhysicalMind Institute of New York, and Stott Pilates International.
Specialties include “TheraPilates” for Osteoporosis and is also a qualified Zenga instructor through Stott Pilates.
Kay works with people of all ages, from teens to moms to athletes. Her focus is always quality of movement and proper alignment and form. The result is improved posture while beautifully sculpting your body.
